Music & Arts

Creative ministries are an important part of our worship at All Saints. They help us to give voice to our praise of God, express our love for Him, and proclaim his goodness together.

At All Saints, music is the largest part of our creative ministries, although our worship services also often include visual images and videos. Our teams include people with very different levels of skill and experience and we’re always looking for people with passion in this area to join us!

Music Ministries

Music at 9am

Worshippers at the 9 a.m. service sing 4 hymns at each service, accompanied by Christine Cross on the organ.  There is an informal group of singers who refresh their communion music repertoire once a month.  Enquiries to Moira-Clare

Music at 10:30am

The 10:30am music ministry is made up of about 12 singers and musicians, with 3–5 rostered on each Sunday. We usually have two singers plus a combination of acoustic/electric guitar, bass, and keyboard, playing a wide range of music from upbeat hymns right through to Brooke Fraser/ Hillsong. We are always looking out for people to join us, who have a heart for worship. For more info contact Fiona

Music at 6pm

At 6pm the music is contemporary and is lead by a worship leader and teams of musicians which usually include several singers, guitars, keyboard and drums. Many of the songs we use are written by musicians in our midst, and creativity is always encouraged! Teams meet for practice on Tuesdays and before the service on Sundays.

Worship teams from the  6pm minister both within the service and outside All Saints through All Saints Worship, and also support several bands and solo artists. The 6pm service also likes to host concerts which in the past have included Sons of Korah, The Lads, Alabaster Box, Edwin Derricut and Lucas Parry.

Kids Ministry music

There are also opportunities to get involved with music for kids programs including Mainly Music, Holiday clubs, Small Saints and family events. For more info contact Kids Ministry

Audio Visual Ministries

Supporting the music ministry are the Sound and Powerpoint ministries. These guys and girls mix the levels for the musicians and speakers, create visual resources, and project the words,  liturgy, and multimedia components of our worship onto the big screen.

If you’re interested in this ministry no experience is necessary – we will provide the training! For more info contact the people listed under the Music Ministries sections (see above).
