Need Support? Call 04 889 2023

What is Happening?

All Saints has established a network of volunteers who are prepared and ready to be the hands and feet for our parish and community when the needs arise due to self isolating or being unwell due to omicron.

We have a centralized number set up for people to ring when they need support, such as grocery shopping, medicines collected, pets cared for, etc etc. The number is called, support request taken which is then distributed to our response team who are ready to pick up the request and action asap.

This is a time when we need to be available and equipped to support each other. It is a very likely scenario that we are all going to need help at some stage in this next season so let us respond in a servant way the reaches out to those around us.

How do I join the response team?

It's easy! Click the form link below and you will get all the information you need. The idea is that there are enough of us to not all be doing it all the time but we can share the load and support. It is also likely that many of us will be unwell or isolating at the same time so the more people on board means the more we can support.

How do I get support or tell someone about this?

Its easy! You can call 04 889 2023 (its free) this will get you through to one of the All Saints COVID-19 Response Team who will take the request and then action that with one of our many team members on the ground.

You can also email vicar@allsaints.org.nz if you don't prefer to talk on the phone. (phone will be actioned much faster)

This is a service for anyone is requiring support. So please tell your friends, whanau and neighbors about this support network. Give them the number or the email address. We are ready to serve.

COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System)

We are being guided by three principles:
  • We believe that getting vaccinated remains the best way to keep as many as possible safe.
  • We recognise that 'loving our neighbour as we love ourselves' sometimes means sacrificing our own desires, especially when our neighbour is vulnerable.
  • We choose to remain in good relationship with everyone who comes into contact with our church, no matter where they stand on this issue. We need to find creative ways to care for all.

We maintain this position:
  • Vaccine Passes will be required for attendance at worship services by everyone over the age of 12 and 3 months at all traffic light levels until further notice.
  • All users of our buildings are required to run events that use the NZ Vaccine Pass for entry.
