Go Sunday - 30th July 2023 

What Is happening? 

Sunday July 30th All Saints is heading out and about. This Go Sunday we are heading up Mt Victoria to plant native trees alongside local community groups. 

 This leans into our call as a missional people as we connect with our community around us. We are also leaning into our call as a diocese to engaging in an action of planting trees as part of our call to care for creation, and being courageous with inviting a friend along to serve next to us. 

Who can be involved? 

This Go Sunday is open and available for ages and stages to get involved. There will be something for everyone. 
- Tree Planting - Hundreds of Native trees to plant 
- Bush clearing 
- Facilitating hospitality for all following the work, Morning Tea, BBQ, Tea and coffee. 
- People to welcome others into the hospitality space 

There is a role for everyone and your friend you are inviting to engage. If you feel like there isnt something you can do please email Guy

What options are available? 

10am

There is an option of meeting at 10am Sunday morning along with Mt Vic Regeneration team. 

Where: Innermost Gardens - Lawson Place

What to Bring:
If Gardening - Sturdy shoes, spade or gardening gloves if you can. 
If Gardening isnt your thing - Bring your knitting, crocheting or BBQ Skills. 

1:45pm

There is an afternoon option meeting at 1:45pm working with the Matairangi (Mt Vic) Trail Builders to plant native trees followed by beers and BBQ. 

Where: Pirie St Play Area 

What to Bring: Bring sturdy shoes, spade or gardening gloves if you can. 

Transport and parking

Bus Options: #2 bus to Pirie Street or #20 bus to Hawker Street
Driving Options: Parking at Lawson Place or Pirie Street Play Area is limited (around 40) consider carpooling.
