Parish Council

What Parish Council

Parish Council oversees the parish's ministries and missions at a strategic level. As the Parish’s governance body, the Parish Council's role includes looking after the financial administration of the parish, managing parish property, and working co-operatively with the vicar and others who undertake tasks in the parish.
  • The Vicar’s Warden is appointed by the vicar or bishop.
  • The People’s Warden and other members are elected.
  • There can be up to 12 elected members, chosen every second November.
  • Meetings happen monthly from February to November, usually on the third Wednesday.
  • Devotions start at 7:15pm, and the meeting runs from 7:30pm to around 9pm.
