Missional Communities here at All Saints

Kia ora everyone, Guy here with a bit of an update about what we call Missional Communities here at All Saints.

You will remember that nearly four years ago, when we arrived, our two central gatherings happened each week; during the Delta lockdown, we pivoted into House Churches to continue to meet together and deepen our discipleship. We have maintained a rhythm of House Churches here at All Saints as well as continuing to gather in the room for our central gatherings. Alongside all of that we have continued to push more and more missionally into our community, through 5th Sundays, Light party, Shrove Tuesdays and more recently through groups of people hearing Gods call, to gather a team, disciple one another, and reach out to those around them.
These are what we are calling Missional Communities; if you take a look at our Mission Action Plan, these are referred to as Evangelistic communities, places where people from our community gather with people from All Saints to build relationships and share faith. There is usually an onramp of some kind that gathers people together. For example, this may be waffles for breakfast, gardening in Mt Vic, Fun Friday Dinners, Mountain Biking, Walking, etc.

We are passionate about equipping Christians with the confidence and support to share the love of Christ with others. We believe here at All Saints that creating small, dynamic Missional Communities filled with people eager to see Christ's Kingdom come here is a way to see people's lives transformed by Christ.

These communities are lay-led, have discipleship at their core, and are passionate about seeing others find Jesus. They are adaptable, prepared to multiply when needed and seek to raise up other leaders.

God is calling us all to participate! You may feel strongly about joining a Missional community, or you might feel like you want to serve a Missional Community when needed, whatever your involvement, please continue to pray for these groups, pray for their leaders, pray for numbers to be added to their groups, pray for transformation in the lives of people, pray for Gods Kingdom to come.

It's part of our MAP here at All Saints to be a sent people who share about Christ's hope for the world, and we are doing it!

If you have a kingdom dream and you need help knowing the how, what, who, where, and when, please get in touch with me. I would love to explore this with you.

If you want to join one of our Missional Communities, get in touch with me, and we can have a chat about where things might fit.

Much love and thankfulness for your participation in the work of God here at All Saints,
