Kia ora, All Saints

This is a quick update for this week as we head towards Parish Camp this weekend, and then I head away for 13 days. 

We are super excited about gathering for the weekend at El Rancho to worship, pray, read, and delve into Scripture together, and have a great time over the weekend. For those of you who are unable to come and are still in town, please feel free to head along to St Aiden's for a 10 am service in Mirimar, or check out another church you have been interested in seeing. We would love to hear what you are seeing around the area. 

I am traveling to India for 13 days starting next Wednesday and will be back on October 13th. Cassandra and the Wardens are available should you require anything while I'm away, alongside the vast crew of leadership at All Saints. 

We will be starting a new series from October 5th modeled on the prayer life of the apostle Paul, titled 'Cultivating a Life of Prayer'. We will run this series through until Advent, with a couple of weeks' break for the AGM and other events. This series will look at Scripture from 1 and 2 Corinthians and Ephesians if you want to get a head start and read through those books. 

A reminder that our AGM is coming up shortly, and we are putting together our Parish Council, Synod Rep(s), and People's Warden at this one, so if you are thinking of someone or thinking of putting yourself forward, now is the time. Please check out the information in the newsletter. 

Adult Baptism: If you are interested in adult baptism, please let me know. We will include it in our service on December 7th. If this is something you are interested in, come and see me. 

There is much to be excited about coming down the line here at All Saints. Alpha is wrapping up, our annual Light Party is coming up, Baptisms, Advent, Christmas, and summer. So Epic! 

Please pray for me as I head away, I look forward to being able to share all that God is doing there and where we can participate and create spaces for young people to engage.
