Scientists (including our very own Andrew Stewart) when on an expedition in the underexplored Bounty Trough off New Zealand have discovered approximately 100 new and potentially new ocean species. This three-week voyage, conducted by scientists from multiple organizations and countries, collected nearly 1800 samples from depths of up to 4800 meters along the 800-kilometer-long Bounty Trough.
