Vicar's Letter - 29th July 2022

Kia ora to you all,

It is Go Sunday this week and we are super excited to do this for the third time!
There are plenty of options and you can still sign up and have a go at meeting our neighbours.

• 9am - Prayer activity at All Saints: Praying for those going out
• 9am - Regenetration of Mount Victoria at 2 Port Street 
• 10am - Knitting goods for the SPCA at All Saints
• 10am - Play Centre Working Bee at 72 Hamilton Road
• 5pm - Food for Thought at Hataitai Community Centre

As always we are excited about this day but the ultimate reason for going out is to spread the gospel! So the relationships you build are important and the work you do is also important. If you want to invite your friends that is totally ok.

Go sunday does three things: It helps us grow in our discipleship, it meets our community and it also spreads the name of All Saints and Jesus to our neighbourhood. I look forward to hearing all the stories as they come back next week!

A couple of things to continue to be aware of:

1. Continuing this Sunday is our Taking Flight – Mission Action Plan afternoon. We are asking the questions, “What does our future look like here at All Saints?”, “What is the Flight Path going forward?” You dont have to have been at last week to come this week and we are looking at the idea "If Jesus came to our neighbourhood what would he see and do?"
   
   We are doing these 6 sessions (on Sunday afternoons) at 3pm to 5pm with dinner afterwards. Kid minding will be provided and as many people as possible participating will get us the best result! We hope you can make it.
2. Prayer continues at 6.30am or 10am on weekdays which you can sign into.
3. We start our Mission Month in August. This is a chance to look at what we are supporting, how we are supporting them and then hear about what mission is. So look out in the newssheet for that nad we have lots of guest speakers signed up for this month.
