Easter Retreat 2024

5/4/2024

Picture
The Pack youth group trekked off to Easter Camp last weekend to celebrate easter. It was a weekend of fun, chaos and Jesus as we spent time together as a group and in prayer.
There were more highlights than can be counted (and of full and diverse variety) but here are a few moments that stuck with me since camp.
  • Watching our young people go hard at worship and praise, seeing them all just go absolutely 100%
  • Anaiwan and Adam (two of our amazing leaders) with straightened hair (pictures available on request). These two good hearted lads agreed to have their hair straightened. By young people. In what can only be described as an act of trust.

Picture
This year at All Saints we will be having services on all the usual days.

- Maundy Thursday (28th Mar) We will be having a light supper at 5:45pm followed by a 7pm service at All Saints. At this service, we will have Footwashing and Communion before we walk with Jesus to the Cross. Remember the last supper and the chance he took to wash his disciple's feet as he served those he loved. We will strip the Altar at the end as the lights are dimmed. The service will end and we will leave in silence.

- Good Friday (29th Mar) We will be meeting at St Patrick's in Kilburnie at 10am with some stations and reflections, then we will be moving through Kilbirnie Park for some more Stations and reflections, Ending at All Saints for the final walk towards the Cross. We will end with tea and coffee + Hot cross buns.
- On Easter Sunday (31st Mar) we will have a 9am Traditional and 10:30am Family gatherings are both happening on Easter Sunday. Come and celebrate with us the good news our community, friends and family need to know! Sick of what the world is selling you? feel like there is better news? there has to be more than this?
Spoiler alert: There is Good News!

Come and check in with us this Easter!
